Today I was invited to talk to the One Heart Support Group about Oral Rehabilitation. The topics covered included the criteria for having dental implants in patients who have had irradiation before to the Head & Neck, I also gave an update to the current evidence pointing reference to the guidelines published by the British Association of Head & Neck Oncologists. Questions were asked about full arch dental implants and single implants specifically whether these procedures were safe for irradiated jaws.
Glad to have made some new friends and enjoyed the Q&A and lunch.
